Ever since 1793 the Vialard family have been closely linked to the Haut-Médoc, as winemakers for two of the Châteaux that would later become two of the greatest First Growths, namely that of Chateau Latour & Chateau Lafite. By 1885 they had established themselves at Château Cissac near Pauillac producing Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, later, the purchase of two other Crus Bourgeois, Château du Breuil and Château Abiet.

In 1969 in order to compete in an evolving wine market Mr Louis Vialard founded a separate Bordeaux Wine Trading Company LOUIS VIALARD S.A.S. Integration into the global wine business and the development of new markets has seen LOUIS VIALARD S.A.S. move into Languedoc-Roussillon trading as well as Bordeaux..

Domaines & Châteaux of Bordeaux
As well as constantly sourcing new wines for clients, LOUIS VIALARD S.A.S. has an extensive range of Domaines, Petit Châteaux and Generic wines either Château bottled, or bottled by LOUIS VIALARD S.A.S. reflecting the diversity and great renown of Bordeaux and therefore the needs of the client, bottling and labelling to specific requests is common practice.

Domaines & Châteaux from the Midi
Our selection consists of Domaines and Châteaux from the Languedoc-Roussillon region, and both, Vins de Pays and Appelations d’Origine Contrôlée from the whole of the Midi, recently the wines of Domaine de Saint Dominique in Aniane (Hérault) owned by Danielle Vialard and Eric Hosteins were introduced, completing the consecration of LOUIS VIALARD S.A.S. involvement in Midi’s wine business.
